The Petron Blaze Spikers kept their undefeated record intact following their 25-14, 25-17, 25-21 win over F2 Logistics Cargo Movers in the 2019 Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix Conference last Saturday at the San Juan Arena.

Katherine Bell led the win with 30 points on 30 attacks, three service aces, and two blocks; while Stephanie Niemer added 15 markers from nine attacks, four aces, and two blocks.

Unlike in their first round encounter, the Blaze Spikers easily defeated the Cargo Movers in the first two sets with excellent setting before the Cargo Movers showed some life in the third.

Cargo Movers were on top 13-9 when the Blaze Spikers went on a run to level the score at 20-all before Bell showed dominance by scoring three times in Petron’s final five points to seal the win.

Meanwhile, Kanjana Kuthaisong was on fire in Generika-Ayala Lifesavers’ 25-20, 25-20, 21-25, 25-18 win over the Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors, stretching their winning streak to three.

The Thai star finished with 24 points with six digs and eight excellent receptions; while Kseniya Kocyigit added 16 points./ASC, WDJ
