The Negros Basketball Association and Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) will be holding a clinic for Level 1-Grassroots Coaches this weekend at the St. John’s Institute in Bacolod City.

The clinic will be led by SBP Coaches’ Commission head Jong Uichico, a nine-time PBA champion coach and two-time Southeast Asian Games champion mentor.

According to Negros Basketball Association head Oscar ‘Dodong’ Bascon, the two-day event will cater Level 1 grassroots coaches and is highly recommended for physical education (PE) teachers, along with students studying PE.

Following the clinic, participants will take a written examination, which will be reviewed by the SBP Coaches’ Commission.
