The P350 million Bacolod City College (BCC) site development and facilities project received one bid with ESJ and Sons Construction design architect Ziebert Rigg Pestaño presenting their conceptual design yesterday to Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia and members of the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) at the Bacolod City Government Center MassKara Hall.

BAC chair Maphilindo Polvora said the contractor’s bid amount will be determined today, March 5.

Pestaño’s presentation included a renovation of the main building; along with the construction of three new fixtures, including an information system building, administration building, and activity center.

According to the mayor, the presentation was based on BCC’s program, noting, an activity center is required by the Commission on Higher Education in order to be an accredited institution.

The project will be constructed upon 19,000 square meters of land located on the BCC main campus in Barangay Taculing./DGB, WDJ
