An orientation for the Sugarcane Industry Development Act (SIDA), organized by Negros Occidental third district Rep. Alfredo Benitez’ district office, was recently held in Barangay Consing, EB Magalona.

SIDA Block Farm Coordinator Joemel Magno discussed the socialized credit program, trainings, scholarship programs, and infrastructure support.

Among those participating in the event included agrarian reform beneficiaries, certificate of land ownership award recipients, and small sugarcane farm cultivators./WDJ
