Bacolodnon Jeffrey Manday was one of 104 selected during the 2019 PBA Developmental League (D-League) rookie draft, which was held last week in Quezon City.

“To be honest, I did not expect to be drafted especially that hindi naman po ako sa Manila naglalaro (To be honest, I did not expect to be drafted, especially since I do not play in Manila),” said the Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias standout.

He was selected by the Che’lu Bar and Grill Revellers, whom he expressed his appreciation for in giving him their trust.

“I promise to do my best,” Manday added. “I know that they have a winning tradition since they were in the PBA D-League finals twice last season.”/ASC, WDJ
