A 48-year-old man was arrested by police late Monday afternoon after he was seen carrying a firearm in Barangay Zone 3, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.

Police identified the suspect as Niel Malaga, a resident of the said area.

Talisay City police said they received a call from local residents claiming Malaga was causing a disturbance in the area.

Cops were immediately dispatched and, upon arrival, they saw a half-naked Malaga with a gun strapped to his waist.

Police arrested Malaga on the spot and recovered a .38 caliber revolver with six live bullets.
