Ten Negrense players are currently participating in the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup, which opened last weekend at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.

Bacolod City boasts the most players with five. Among them include Jeffrei Chan of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, LA Revilla and Justin Chua of Phoenix Fuel Masters, Reynel Hugnatan – Meralco Bolts, and Siverino Baclao – Alaska Aces.

Meanwhile, Escalante City boasts Joe Devance of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and James Yap of Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.

The other natives of Negros Occidental playing in the tournament are Pontevedra’s Raymar Jose for Blackwater Elite, Silay City’s John Paul Calvo for Columbian Dyip, and Bago City’s Raul Soyud for NLEX Road Warriors./ASC, WDJ
