The Department of Trade and Industry-Region VI (DTI-6) recently awarded 37 local businesses the Bagwis Award, which recognizes establishments that uphold consumer rights and conduct responsible business practices.

“The Bagwis seal is a guarantee of quality and safe products and services [at] these accredited establishments,” explained DTI-6 Director Rebecca M. Rascon.

She also encouraged the public to patronize businesses accredited with the Bagwis Award.

There are currently a total of 102 Bagwis Award-accredited establishments throughout the Western Visayas./WDJ
