Two suspected drug personalities were arrested yesterday afternoon following an anti-drug operation at Burgos-Rizal Streets in Barangay 2, Silay City.
Police identified the arrested suspects as Joyny Lacson and Janny Jordan, residents of the said area.
Silay City police said the suspects were arrested after they sold one big sachet of suspected shabu for P15,500.
Police also recovered an additional three sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and the P15,500 buy-bust money.
Police added, the recovered drugs weighed a total 15 grams and was valued at P180,000.
After their arrest, the suspects were also presented to Silay City Mayor Mark Golez, who congratulated the city’s police force for the successful operation.
Both suspects face illegal drugs charges and are detained at the Silay City Police Station./DGB, WDJ
