GP reveals their lineup

The ruling Grupo Progreso (GP) coalition revealed their full slate yesterday and filed their certificates of candidacy at the Commission on Elections office in Bacolod City.

Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia; Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran; Bacolod City lone district Rep. Greg Gasataya; and City Councilors Bartolome Orola, Cindy Rojas, Renecito Novero, Dindo Ramos, and Elmer Sy are all on the ticket seeking reelection.

Incumbent City Councilor Ana Marie Palermo also officially joined the lineup after running in the last election as a member of opposition coalition Magbinuligay Kita para sa Kauswagan.

The remainder of the GP slate is comprised of former City Councilors Al Espino, Archie Baribar, and Carlos Jose Lopez; Barangay Singcang-Airport Kagawad Simple Distrito, who is running to replace her son, outgoing City Councilor Caesar Distrito; Israel Salanga; and Marlon Solidum.
