The candidates for this year’s Miss Earth pageant, a competition designed to promote environmentalism, paid a visit to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) yesterday.

The beauty queens met with various department officials and attended an environmental seminar.

A total 90 delegates will compete on coronation night, set to take place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on November 3.

Celeste Cortesi is this year’s Miss Earth Philippines.
