A man was rushed to a hospital in Bacolod City late Thursday night after he was allegedly hit in the head by responding barangay tanods, who were responding to reports he was being disorderly at the corner of Ramos-Burgos Streets in the city’s Barangay 19.
Police identified the suspect as 29-year-old Johnten Divinagracia, a resident of the said area.
Police Station 4 said they received a call around 9:40 p.m. claiming Divinagracia was acting disorderly.
Several barangay tanods responded and tried to pacify Divinagracia, but failed.
The responding officials were forced to strike Divinagracia in the head to stop him.
The victim was rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital./DGB, WDJ
