Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr. and Dynamic Builders and Construction Company Inc. President Ricardo Yanson, Jr. signed a lease agreement for a lot, located along Aguinaldo Street in Bacolod City, earlier this week. The construction company official also turned over a symbolic check worth over P26 million, the value of the security deposit and a two-year advance on rent.

The lease runs for 50 years with an option to renew upon expiration.

Last month, after Dynamic Builders reportedly submitted an unsolicited proposal to construct a high-rise building at the aforementioned site, acting Negros Occidental Provincial Administrator, Dr. Lucille Gelvolea, confirmed nobody offered a counter proposal.

The lease zones the area for mixed use, projecting a 10-story building, containing a mall, call center, offices, and a hotel, will be constructed./WDJ
