Silay City’s top one most wanted for the charge of rape was arrested after the city’s police tracked down his location at Sitio Cubay at the city’s Barangay Guinhalaran on Wednesday.

Police identified the suspect as 35-year-old Herman Gumban, a resident of the said place.

Silay City police chief, Police Superintendent Noel Polines, said Gumban was nabbed through an arrest warrant issued by Judge Dyna Doll Chiongson-Trocio of the Silay City Regional Trial Court Branch 40 in relation to two counts of rape.
Polines said Gumban is detained at the city’s police station with no bail recommended for his case./DGB, WDJ
