The Social Security System (SSS) is inviting the public to avail of its e-mobile services on August 16 at Negros Occidental Multi-Purpose Activity Center from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
The program is part of the company’s commitment to give its clients fast and convenient services, SSS Bacolod Acting Branch Head III Lina Hilado said.
Among the services available are SSS registration for those who wish to become members, and issuance of SSS number.
Qualified SSS members may also avail of ID capture for Unified Members Identification if qualified, and updating or amendment in their record or E4.
Simple amendments like change status, additional beneficiaries and the like can be availed during the day.
The SSS is stepping up its efforts to reach out to enroll more members for them to avail of the company’s benefits such as sickness, maternity, retirement, death, funeral and disability.
Hilado revealed SSS Bacolod total number of members is now 422,777 consisting of employees, self-employed and voluntary members.
There are more than 23,400 employers in Bacolod City and 60 percent of them are regularly paying their dues.
Those who fail to comply with their obligation with the SSS are billed and dealt with by the legal department.
