A pedicab driver was found dead yesterday along an empty beach in the Bacolod City reclamation area at Purok Cambodia, Barangay 8.

Police have yet to identify the pedicab driver, as he was found without identification.

Police Station 2 (PS2) lead investigator, Senior Police Officer 3 Roy Militante, said a guard, identified as Julie Alba, was performing rounds in the area when he spotted the remains and immediately notified police.

After a preliminary examination, police discovered a gunshot wound to the head.

Investigators also recovered an empty .45 caliber shell near the victim’s remains.

PS2 investigators are currently probing the incident./DGB, WDJ
