A Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) high-value drug target was arrested Sunday evening during a buy-bust operation along 6th Street in Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City.

PDEA agents identified the suspect as Emmanuel Romeo Gonzaga, a resident of the said city.

Based on information provided by PDEA, they recovered a total five sachets of suspected shabu, weighing 22 grams.

Agents estimated the value of the illicit substance at P149,600.

Aside from shabu, agents also recovered two 10mg blister packs of valium under the Diazepam brand, a digital weighing scale, drug paraphernalia, a mobile phone, and the suspect’s white-colored car.

Gonzaga presently faces possession and sale of illegal drugs charges and is under PDEA custody./DGB, WDJ
