Two suspected drug personalities were arrested after City Drug Enforcement Agency (CDEU) operatives conducted a Tuesday night buy-bust operation at Purok Avocado in Barangay 20, Bacolod City.
Police identified the suspects as 58-year-old Apollo Solano, a resident of the said area; and 33-year-old Paul Lozada, a resident of the Greenville Subdivision in Barangay Villamonte.
CDEU operatives said they moved in after Solano handed one sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop in exchange for P1,000.
A search of the suspects yielded three big sachets of suspected shabu, valued around P180,000; along with a weighing scale allegedly used for repacking illegal drugs.
Both Solano and Lozada are detained at Police Station 4 and facing illegal drugs charges./DGB, WDJ
