Student at Miguel S. Mondia Elementary School, located at Sitio Bais in Barangay Yubo, La Carlota City, recently received school supplies from Aksyon Radyo Bacolod, an event conducted in cooperation with the cooperation with Negros Press Club and Task Force Kasanag (TFK).
140 students, ranging from Grades 1 to 6, benefitted from the annual Balik-Eskwela Project.
“We’re hoping that the beneficiaries of this project will appreciate our simple gesture,” said Press Club President Renato Duran.
Also taking part in the event were La Carlota City Public Information Officer Carmela Valencia, Kenneth Daniel Romay of the Department of Education Schools Division of La Carlota, Barangay Captain Dennis Valencia, among others./WDJ
