A wanted drug suspect was arrested by police inside his home in Barangay Payao, Binalbagan, Wednesday morning.

Police identified the suspect as 37-year-old Christopher Cruz, Jr., a resident of the said area.

Binalbagan municipal police chief, Police Chief Inspector Albert Hucalla Sy, said Cruz had an outstanding arrest warrant for violations of Sections 11 and 12 of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Cruz’s warrant was issued this month and signed by Judge Walter Zorilla of the Himamaylan City Regional Trial Court-Branch 56.

Bail is set at P240,000./DGB, WDJ
