Ceres FC to meet Boeung Ket on Wednesday in Cambodia

Ceres-Negros FC returns to the ongoing 2018 AFC Cup group stage competition when they face Cambodian club Boeung Ket Angkor FC on Wednesday, April 11, at the Phnom Penh Olympic Stadium in Cambodia.

The Negrense club dominated their prior meeting, demolishing the Cambodian outfit 9-0 at the Panaad Park and Stadium.

Ceres is coming off a 2-1 win over Kaya FC-Iloilo, the former’s first match in the 2018 Philippines Football League (PFL).

Meanwhile, following the exit of Ceres fitness coach Pepe Lozada early last month, the club has since hired Bosnian Slobodan Klačar as his replacement.

He previously led the physical coaching department for Bosnian football club FK Sarajevo and also competed on the Bosnian national judo team./JSG, WDJ
