Two softball tournaments are scheduled to take place in Manapla on April 28, the Negros First 2nd Gov. Alfredo Marañon, Jr. Area 2 Inter-Hacienda Summer League and the 1st Lourdes Soccorro Escalante Open Summer League, both at the Hacienda Lourdes Ballpark.

Six teams, two each from Manapla, Cadiz City, and Sagay City, will compete in the Negros First league; while teams representing Murcia, Paglaum Village-Bacolod, Carlos Hilado Memorial State College-Talisay, Talisay City, Silay City, and Sagay City will participate in the Escalante summer league.

The Negros First league will play games on weekends, while Escalante summer league games will be played on Sundays./JSG, WDJ
