Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia recently met with Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) president, Atty. Clint Aranas, during a luncheon at the GSIS office in Manila.

“We have a dedicated government official who comes from the private sector,” the mayor said of Aranas. “We expect fresh ideas and innovations.”

“We are enthusiastic and positive that his leadership will infuse a new brand of politics,” he added.

The two discussed developments within the PDP-Laban, along with concerns affecting Bacolod City.

Aranas, who was earlier named PDP-Laban Negros Occidental Provincial Council president, said one of his tasks is to “pursue local programs to institutionalize majority party platforms to fight drugs, corruption, criminality, and terrorism.”/WDJ
