NBA seeking teams to participate in the President’s Cup

Negros Basketball Association (NBA) Board President Oscar Bascon is seeking basketball teams to participate in the upcoming President’s Cup, a part of the NBA Open Tournament, set to be held at STI-West Negros University (STI-WNU) and tentatively scheduled for the first week of April.

Games will also be played every weekend at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School gym.

The organization will be holding a meeting of coaches and team managers on March 15 at the Bascon Café-La Salle at 3:30 p.m., to discuss competition rules and regulations.

Supervising the tournament will be Commissioner Bobby Tee and Assistant Commissioner Henry Doble.

Previous competitions have developed prominent figures in the game including Boyet Fernandez, Noli Locsin, Wilmer Ong, Leo Bat-og, among others.
