The Bacolod/Negros Occidental chapter of Pilipina (Ang Kilusan ng Kababaihang Pilipino), in coordination with the Provincial Council for Women of Negros Occidental, will hold a women’s leadership forum on federalism, along with a learning session on the Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) on Saturday, February 17, at Hall 2 in May Fair Plaza, located at 12-Lacson Streets in Bacolod City.
The half-day forum is expected to be attended by around 100 female leaders, with John J. Carroll Institute on Church and Social Issues Associate Director Eleanor R. Dionisio serving as resource person.
That afternoon, a learning session on the proposed BBL, which is currently pending before Congress, will take place at Ting Ting’s Restaurant, located along B.S. Aquino Drive.
