In response to rumors of a possible alliance between former Bacolod City Mayor Monico Puentevella, Abang Lingkod Party-list Rep. Stephen Paduano, and Bacolod City Councilor Ricardo Tan in the upcoming 2019 elections, incumbent Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia said it is “too early” to discuss politics.

“As of the moment, I have so many things at hand,” he said.

The mayor said he will make his 2019 intentions known at some point in the future, noting, a three-year term is too short.

Reports claim Paduano is  intending to seek the mayorship, Puentevella for lone district congressman, and Tan for vice mayor./NC, WDJ
