A resident of Valladolid, Negros Occidental was arrested by police following a buy-bust operation at Purok Ipil in Barangay Mabini, late Wednesday evening.

Police identified the suspect as 32-year-old Ronal Aguinaldo, a resident of the said barangay.

Police Senior Inspector Junji Liba, Valladolid municipal police chief, said they recovered two elongated sachets of suspected shabu from Aguinaldo, suspected drug money amounting to P500, and drug paraphernalia.

The confiscated shabu were later turned over to the provincial crime laboratory in Bacolod City, while Aguinaldo faces illegal drugs charges./JJA, WDJ
