A salon owner killed himself inside his establishment at Lopez Jaena-Burgos Streets in Bacolod City late Thursday evening.
Police identified the fatality as 49-year-old Ralph Limbaga, owner of the Red Palm Salon and resident of Barangay Alangilan in the said city.
Based on a report released by Police Station 4 (PS4), Limbaga’s remains were found by employees inside their comfort room with a gunshot wound to the head.
PS4 investigators pointed out the victim was suffering from financial problems wherein, prior to the incident, a lawyer and five others visited the establishment.
Limbaga tried selling his salon last November.
Police recovered a .45 caliber pistol inside the comfort room.
The victim’s father, Felipe, meanwhile, refused to believe his son would take his own life, adding, he does not own a firearm./DGB, WDJ
