A one-year-old child was injured after accidentally falling into a wellin Barangay Alacaygan, EB Magalona, Negros Occidental.
Authorities identified the victim as Carell James Comprado, a resident of the said barangay.
In a radio interview with the victim’s mother, she said her son’s uncle called the child to come downstairs but were unaware he was already outside.
She said they were surprised to hear the boy shouting for help from the well, which is around 10 feet deep.
The child’s family and several neighbors rescued the child and rushed him to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) for treatment./DGB, WDJ
