The Rotary Club of Bacolod-East will be celebrating their 35th anniversary tonight, January 13, at the Natalia Hall 2, located at the O Hotel, starting at 7:00 p.m.
The event includes the presentation of the Media Lifetime Achievement Awards, with this year’s recipients identified as Rommel Jamero and Clarence Locsin.
Rolando ‘Rolly’ L. Espina, who won the Media Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014, will posthumously receive the Golden Pen award, commemorating 50 years in the industry.
The club will also award Sonny Elegado the Outstanding Charter President Award.
The awards presentation is part of the Rotary Club’s “Public Image Project.”/WDJ
