The mother of notorious robbery group leader Arnold ‘Aki’ Cuadra was arrested in a buy-bust operation at Purok Sigay, Barangay 2, Bacolod City yesterday.
The suspect was identified as 47-year-old Belinda Cuadra, who is on the Police Station 2 (PS2) drug watchlist.
Police seized three elongated sachets of suspected shabu, P400 cash believed to be proceeds from the sale of illegal drugs, a coin purse, and the marked money.
According to PS2 commander, Police Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias, Jr., the suspect’s husband, Noli Cuadra, was a high-value target of Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6).
The suspect is currently detained in the custodial facility of PS2 and faces charges in violation of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./DGB, WDJ
