The medical examiner for the Land Transportation Office (LTO) branch at Robinsons Place Bacolod was found dead early yesterday morning (December 28) inside his car, which was parked along the highway in Barangay Calumangan, Bago City.

Police identified the fatality as 82-year-old Dr. Felix Valenzuela, who previously served as a Bago City councilor and city health officer.

Initial investigations conducted by Bago City police revealed the victim was last seen by witnesses in the area parking his car and exiting his vehicle around 5:00 p.m. and later returning to the car via the driver’s seat.

Reports further revealed, residents in the area were surprised to see the vehicle still parked alongside the highway, prompting them to call the police.
