The Iloilo Provincial Capitol began the distribution of P56.1 million cash to volunteers over the weekend, in compliance with an executive order signed earlier this month by Governor Arthur Defensor, Sr.

Each worker, comprised of barangay health workers, barangay service point officers, day care workers, and barangay nutrition scholars, will receive P4,000.

Today, December 12, volunteers will be able to pick up their cash award at the Guimbal Municipal Treasurer’s Office, the San Miguel Municipal Treasurer’s Office, or the Sta. Barbara Municipal Treasurer’s Office, depending on their barangay.

Tomorrow, payment centers in Cabatuan and Pototan will be operational./FJV, WDJ
