F&E Enterprises, Inc. recently donated 10 two-faced reflectorized directional signs, worth P80,000, to the Iloilo City government in an effort to prevent vehicular accidents.
According to Iloilo City Mayor Jose Espinosa III, “These traffic [signs] will remind those [driving] to slow down, pause, stop, and observe proper traffic signals.”
Earlier this year, Espinosa ordered the removal of illegal structures from Jaro Plaza and Mandurriao Plaza after observing kiosks were “causing hindrance to pedestrians as well as motor vehicles,” which he said eventually results in traffic congestion./PLL, WDJ
