A Bacolod City College (BCC) student was killed after his head was run over by a truck in Barangay Alijis, Bacolod City, yesterday afternoon.
Police identified the fatality as 23-year-old Dennis Destor, Jr., a resident of Purok Paho, Barangay Taculing in the said city.
Based on an initial probe by traffic investigators from Police Station 7 (PS7), the victim was traveling along the Alijis-Murcia highway when he crashed.
The victim’s head was then ran over by a truck, driven by Joer Navarro of La Castellana, Negros Occidental, killing Destor on the spot.
PS7 is still conducting a follow-up investigation over the incident, while Navarro is presently detained at PS7./DGB, WDJ
