Ahead of today’s Premier Volleyball League (PVL) games, set to take place at the University of St. La Salle (USLS), part of the PVL tour, event organizer Bea Tan said proceeds from the event will benefit USLS.
She called it her way of giving back.
Volleyball star Alyssa Valdez is expected to participate in the event, alongside the Creamline Cool Smashers, to take on the Pocari Sweat Lady Warriors at 4:00 p.m., while the Perlas-BanKo Lady Spikers meet the Philippine Air Force at 6:00 p.m.
The event will also be a homecoming for local talents Fille Cainglet-Cayetano of the Lady Warriors and Gizelle Tan of the Lady Spikers.
A 2:00 p.m. preliminary game is also scheduled between Bacolod Tay Tung High School and USLS.
Back in September, it was reported the PVL would also hold exhibition games in Bacolod City on November 3, featuring the Bali Pure Water Defenders, the Pocari Sweat Lady Warriors, the Perlas-BanKo Lady Spikers, and the Creamline Cool Smashers./JSG, WDJ
