The Bacolod Traffic Authority Office (BTAO) advised local truck hauling companies to avoid traveling along major roads in the city during the highlights of the ongoing MassKara Festival.

In addition, BTAO head, Police Superintendent Luisito Acebuche, said a truck ban will be implemented along major roads on Friday, October 20, around 1:00 p.m.

He also requested a partial closure on October 19, along Lacson Street, saying organizers will be putting up several stages for the Electric MassKara event. The closure would start along Cottage Road, at the Capitol Lagoon, up to the intersection of BS Aquino Drive; it is scheduled to be implemented from 4:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. the following day.

One way traffic will also be observed along Gatuslao Street for southbound traffic, and along Aguinaldo Street for northbound vehicles./DGB, WDJ
