Argument between cousins in Granada escalates into stabbing

An argument between two cousins turned ugly after it escalated into a stabbing in Barangay Granada, Bacolod City, late Sunday evening.
Police identified the victim as 30-year-old Ryan Solquiho, while the suspect was identified as 23-year-old Jesmart Alag, both of Buenavista, Guimaras.
Based on reports released by Police Station 5 (PS5), Solquiho and Alag were drinking when an argument erupted between the two.
Alag allegedly stabbed Solquiho multiple times, hitting him on different sides of the body, before fleeing away toward an unknown direction.
The victim was rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) following the incident.
Police, meanwhile, recovered Alag’s knife, which measured 12-inches.
PS5 is still conducting a follow-up investigation into the incident and are presently looking for the suspect./WDJ
