Ceres-Negros FC returns to Philippines Football League (PFL) action this weekend with a match against Davao Aguilas FC, today, at the Rizal Memorial Stadium at 4:00 p.m.
The Negrense club is looking to duplicate their last meeting with the club from Davao, winning 2-0 at the Panaad Park and Stadium back in July.
While Ceres currently sits in fifth place on the league table, with several games in hand, Davao is second to last, yet to earn a win this season.
However, since their prior meeting, Davao has acquired James and Phil Younghusband, who recently saved the Philippine national football team in their 2-2 draw against Yemen in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup qualification round, earlier this month./WDJ
