Salesmen robbed by riding-in-tandem in Hinigaran

A total P260,000 in cash was stolen after two unidentified suspects robbed two salesmen at Isabela-Hinigaran roads in Barangay Bato, Hinigaran in Negros Occidental, Wednesday afternoon.
Police identified the victims as 43-year-old Eliseo Barayoga, Jr., a resident of Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City; and 31-year-old Melogie Erojo, a resident of Sunset Village, Barangay E. Lopez, Silay City.
According to police, the victims were aboard a private vehicle when two unidentified armed suspects riding a motorcycle fired an unknown caliber of pistol and shot the front-right tire of the vehicle.
Aside from the money, the suspects also stole a watch and a mobile phone.
A follow-up investigation is currently being conducted by the police into the identification and possible arrest of the suspects./WDJ
