MassKara 2017 dance competition expecting 15 barangays, 11 schools to participate

The 2017 MassKara Festival street and arena dance competitions, scheduled from October 21 to 22, are expecting 15 barangays and 11 schools to take part in the contests.

Among the expected barangays to take part include Alijis; Banago; Mandalagan; Pahanocoy; Punta Taytay; Tangub; along with Barangays 5, 7, 8, 15, 18, 26, 29, 39, and 40.
The competing schools include Banago Elementary School II, Bata Elementary School II, Mabini Elementary School, Handumanan Elementary School I, Luis Puentevella Elementary School, the Education and Training Center School-I, Mariano G. Medalla Integrated School, Domingo Lacson National High School, Romanito Maravilla National High School, Bacolod City National High School, and Paglaum National High School.
There will be separate winners for the elementary and secondary schools categories.
The school competition is expected to take place on October 21, while the barangay contest is scheduled for October 22; with the street competition starting at Lizares-Araneta Streets at 3:00 p.m. and the arena competition taking place at the Bacolod Public Plaza at 4:00 p.m./WDJ
