Talisay City seniors receive assistance

The Senior Citizens’ Wellness Program, in partnership with the City Health and City Social Welfare and Development Offices, provided free haircuts, manicures, and pedicures to Talisay City senior citizens, yesterday.
Talisay City senior citizens were provided free medical services, consultation, and medicine yesterday, part of the Senior Citizens’ Wellness Program.

As part of the City of Talisay Longevity Assistance Program, Mayor Neil Lizares III distributed funds to local senior citizens during an event yesterday, where seniors were also pampered.

A total of 18 80-year-old residents each received P2,000; while three 90-year-old residents were each provided P3,000.

Also yesterday, the Senior Citizens’ Wellness Program, in partnership with the City Health and City Social Welfare and Development Offices, provided free haircuts, manicures, pedicures, massages, and reflexology to seniors.

The mayor said it was his way of showing love and care for senior citizens./WDJ
