The 15th Waling-Waling Festival is scheduled to open at Robinsons Place Bacolod next week, August 28, and run until September 5.

Organized by the Orchid and Horticulture Organization of Negros, Inc. and carrying the theme “Timeless Beauty: The Allure of the Waling,” the festival will display the waling-waling collections of organization members; a photo contest; along with lectures on proliferating orchids, fertilization, among others.
The waling-waling, or the vanda sanderiana, is considered the “Queen of Philippine Orchids.”/WDJ
