Provincial Government distributes P5.95M for barangay projects

The Negros Occidental provincial government yesterday distributed a total of P5.95 million intended for barangay projects in four local government units across the province.

P2.8 million went to Silay City for projects including canal and drainage rehabilitation, footwalk repairs, a riprap project, the purchase of multi-purpose vehicles, and green projects; while P2.05 million went to Talisay City for similar projects, along with the construction of communal toilets.
Meanwhile, P500,000 was provided for Barangay Refugio, Calatrava for an electrification project; and P600,000 for Barangay Maquiling, Sagay City for a road concreting project.
