Singcang-Airport man hospitalized after being stabbed with an ice pick

A man is currently in the hospital after being stabbed with an ice pick at Purok Sampaguita 3, Barangay Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City, early Monday morning.
Authorities identified the victim as 38-year-old Ronesto Cuyno.
Police Station 8 (PS8) investigators said Cuyno was stabbed by Gilbert Lozada, of the said purok, on the chest and to the right side of his body.
In addition to the stab wounds, Cuyno also received an injury to his chin after being punched by the suspected assailant.
The victim was sent to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) for medical treatment, while Lozada fled the area after committing the crime.
A hot pursuit operation is now being conducted by the police towards the possible apprehension of the suspect./WDJ
