Man shot by brother in Moises Padilla

A man was shot by his brother during a heated argument at Sitio Barrio Daan, Barangay Guinpa-an, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental, late Wednesday evening.
Police identified the victim as 37-year-old Noel Gonzales, while the suspect was identified as 35-year-old Roland Gonzales. Both are residents of the said barangay.
Moises Padilla municipal police said the sister of the Gonzales brothers, Ritchie Allado, reported the incident began after they had been drinking.
During the squabble, Roland picked up an unknown caliber of firearm and shot Noel once, hitting him in the stomach.
Noel was rushed to Enrico Roa Elumba Hospital in neighboring La Castellana, but was later transferred to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) for further treatment.
A hot pursuit operation of the suspect is currently being conducted by police./WDJ
