According to Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) acting director, Police Senior Superintendent Jack Wanky, there are no new illegal gambling operators in the city.

However, he noted, law enforcement are still monitoring previously identified operators, in the event they return to their illegal activities.

Wanky pointed out, among the personalities being monitored are government employees.

He also noted, based on received intelligence, current gambling operators do not have connections to illegal drugs, unlike last year./DGB, WDJ
