A cafe customer was allegedly robbed at gunpoint by still-unidentified suspects along Narra Extension, Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City, Thursday afternoon.

Police identified the victim as 37-year-old Rolindo Salme, a resident of Hervias II Subdivision, in the said barangay.

Investigators from Police Station 4 (PS4) said, as Salme stopped in front of the cafe, an unidentified man approached him and tried to grab his bag.

As Salme resisted, the suspect pulled out an unknown caliber of firearm, forcing the victim to let go of the bag.

The suspect ran towards a waiting red motorcycle and fled towards the direction of Homesite.

The robbers carted away at least P143,147 of cash, a receipt for a pawned necklace, and several government-issued identification cards.
