Amid the campaign to remove excess wiring from electrical posts in Bacolod City, Central Negros Electric Cooperative Inc. (Ceneco) General Manager Sulpicio Lagarde said their attempts at contacting telecommunication companies to remove their wiring have gone unanswered.
He said the utility co-op has reached out three times.
Lagarde explained 18 electrical posts need to be replaced but they cannot proceed until wiring from telecommunication companies are removed.
As a solution, he has since contacted the City Engineer’s Office (CEO) and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to assist in the removal process.
The general manager stressed, the posts are being replaced because have already gone rotten./WDJ
