A suspected shoplifter was nabbed by security guards at a mall located along Araneta Street, Barangay Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City, Tuesday evening.
Police identified the suspect as 26-year-old Alayssa Mae Sandag, a resident of Nagahili-ugyon, Barangay Tangub in the said city.
Records released by Police Station 8 (PS8) said the suspect was caught in the act of allegedly stealing several articles of clothing and other department store items, valued at P2,272.75.
Mall guards were alerted and immediately blocked the suspect’s exit, resulting in her arrest.
Sandag could face charges of theft and is detained at PS8./WDJ
